1. Create your character - pick a race (Human, Orc, Elf) and a class. Race only sets your look and castle; stats and skills depend on the class, so the same class is equally strong in every race.
2. Basic controls
- Z: target the nearest monster.
- R: basic attack; mix R with skills for combos.
- S: walk backwards; middle mouse turns you around quickly.
- H: back to town, in front of the warp gate.
- M: world map with monster levels.
3. Levelling - monster areas in Arkent get stronger the farther they are from town. The quest officers' 1-40 quest chain guides you step by step, and party EXP is shared.
4. Death - if a monster defeats you, you revive in front of your race's castle and lose 5% of the current level's EXP.
5. In town - warehouse keeper (account storage), blacksmith (repair, trade and crafting), potion merchant, scroll merchant and the Mystic Anvil for upgrades.
