Dev Diary #10: Parties

Parties of up to 8, shared experience and gold, a bonus for mixed classes and three loot modes.

Arkhon Online is built for playing together. A party levels faster and can take on tougher monsters.

Basics

• A party holds up to 8 players.
  
• L opens the party window.
  
• Only the leader can disband the party.
  

Shared experience

• Experience is shared between party members within 50 metres.
  
• Every extra member grows the total experience pool by 25%.
  
• Every different class in the party (up to 4) adds another 3%, so balanced parties are rewarded.
  

Gold and loot

• Dropped gold is split between nearby members, and every extra member grows the pool by 10%.
  
• There are three loot modes: in turn, free for all and leader decides.
